ya it was na for about 2 years then i built up a turboed motor and dropped it in.. so much fun i love it :) im about to do alot of work to it.. i found a guy to paint it and i finished the interior i just need to take some pictures and clean it really good

finally messing around with some boost, and blew off the intercooler pipe that hooks to the bottom of the turbo... scared the shit outta me i thought i blew the engine haha i gotta get it on a lift to fix it, later tonight i hope..

I painted my speaker covers black which looks much better than faded pink. I took the supra for a cruise up in the hills in the rain :) that was fun. just enjoying summer. lots of projects this winter I forsee :)

ok well update wise there isn't any. it'd finally running normal. the only thing that's weird is the fan is extremely loud while driving. I am going to see if the clutch is stuck but its brand new... anyways heres some pictures

just took the car for a cruise and having the tps adjusted right made a world of difference. now I just need to work out a few more bugs. but honestly everytime i drive it it seems to run better and better so maybe it just wants to be driven Haha

ok so I got the throttle position sensor within tsrm spec. it is set near perfect. it idles better and now its not running lean. 15.3 afr at 700 rps. the only weird thing is when you are driving and accelerating in say first gear and you push in the clutch and let off the gas to shift the rps...

I tried that. to set it less than 2000k ohms but it gave me some crazy reading that I didn't understand. wiring stuff is not my fortee. you got an easier way of doing it?

so all I gotta do is loosen it and test drive it then repeat till it runs good?

hmmm. ill bet that's what it is. it seems like the engine is receiving no fuel as soon as I let off the gas. its like the throttle is either on or off no in between.

ok I will give that a shot. would that explain the odd extreme drop from any rpm to idle?

well I tried to adjust it but I didn't understand the readings my volt meter was giving me

ok so I got a new tps and installed it and now there is no code 51 but it totally runs like crap. lean idle. and no acceleration power. if you accelerate and then let off it acts really weird and the idle drops instantly. any ideas guys I need help :(

I modified my lock to fit in the tails and it wasn't to bad. turned out nice too. all it took was a drill and some pop rivets.

I HAD the same rust Devin and it wasn't to bad to fix. I now feel so much better not having it there to bother me lol

so I narrowed down my code 51 to being the tps due to the fact that I checked the wiring and to see of the throttle body was all the way closed and they are fine. I also got my car moved to my new apartment so I can work on it on my days off. here's a few pics cause I was bored lol thanks...
