I'm actually about 45 mins from you in Gallatin...
PM me your number if you want. We can meet up and look things over sometime over a beer or two, or ten.
Actually, I PM'd you awhile back about some part lol. Either way, give me a call if you want.

Could be as simple as the turbine housing A/R. Smaller housing equals faster spool.
There's quiet a bit more to it than just that though. Smaller A/R's will allow it to spool faster but "choke" the engine a bit at higher RPMs. Larger A/R's will spool slower but allow you some head room to...
What condition is your turbo in? That could explain the murky coolant. The start up issues could be the ISC, TPS, vac leak, or the EGR not hooked up properly. 4 hours in the exhaust mani is bs. It shouldn't take more than 45 mins for a comptent mechanic.
I had a similar issue with smog...
What about the bushing for the shock/spring mount inside the fender? I noticed when you were turning the wheel the car would rise and fall. You also said that sometimes you can push down on it and hear the noise. If it's the vertical movement causing it then I would think it's suspension...
^ IJ, I know "guess" means "this is your problem" lol. I'm going to send you a PM on the other site to pick your brain some more if that's ok.
The overheating is probably HG related from the slightly high revving of 9k+ RPM. Do the usuals for that and good luck.
^ I knew someone would get pissed. Assests don't always appriciate, it's anything you have money in. (Stocks?) Also he said "it's not even insured" meaning no insurance. But who cares? I don't lol.
This is a great point to someones sig, This point sytem makes me feel like I'm in highschool...
^ You're not to good with money either? lol Your car is an asset/investment as well as your house. You probably never had anything stolen from you either? Also in TN insurance is required by law and if you happen to hit someone you get to pay for damages. Ask my dad about this one, 15 years...
Not really a protective measure but how I feel about my supra. Right now it's in a pretty sad state, trans in trunk, motor in 15000 peices, molded interior (That's the shape I got it in)). While pulling it off the dolly to park it in the driveway and friend was pushing on the sideview and broke...
Once again I sorry for your loss. After reading all the posts I just wanted to say that I only know of one other place with a fellowship like this... USMC. Semper Fi. Let us know if you need anything.
I've heard cat's do the same thing but you said it isn't at any other rpm right? Get a stethescope or a long screwdiver and put it to your ear on the valve cover to see if it is in the valve train. Also, put your timing back to 10 degrees and see if that helps. To me it sounds like you may have...
I think you're on the right track. Either the ground cables are bad/corroded inside the wrap, or, the terminal you bought is for a pos instead of a neg post which would be bigger and not clamp properly, or you have a bad battery overall. Sometimes a battery will hold a perfect charge untill a...
Hate to hear that. It's always a sad day when anyone leaves. My prayers are out for you and yours.
*EDIT*
I just saw you're in TN. I'm in the Nashville area, call if you need/want to. PM me for the info.
I could care less about post count. Input shaft bearing is going bad and causing the gears to bind.
It's causing a harmonic effect like a v-twin bike but only in your trans meaning something is loose and/or going bad. Typically what's stated above.
