Very cool. I have the Suprasport one and the Blitz version in a box somewhere.
The Blitz is cast iron from memory
The Suprasport elbow has a matching stainless downpipe to match the cast iron elbow. They both came from the Suprasport workshop Supra.
This is quite easy to answer.
90% of the world supply are either trashed, modded, tired, rusty or high milage, due to the fact they have been cheap as chips for the last 20 years.
Toyota has pretty much discontinued everything making restoration exceptional difficult if not impossible, so...
Best way to repair is how the OP's were done (end method). Fill the void and use a flex body filler on the outside. They never crack again. I did a set a decade ago, and still perfect to this day.
Hey James,
With the cut-out trans tunnel hole, were you still able to use the stock bolt holes for the shifter boot etc?
I never realised you had to cut out the hole more when going manual until recently, it seems to be one thing that every guide never mentions.
Very very nice as usual James. When did you happen to source the "3.0 Turbo" front badge?
I have a second hand one which is in 90% condition, but wouldn't mind a spare. Been told countless times via Japan they are NLA though.
James, any more info on the rubber boot for the shifter?... I was told they are NLA.
Also the stock shift knob you will likely be able to get from Japan (I did prob 12 months ago). The PN for the leather black MA70 one is 33504-24070-C0
