Well to make things short, I forgot to tighten my pressure adjusting screw with the lock nut and drove my car around.... the vibration loosed them both up and now they are gone.
I need replacements, yet no one seems to carry just the pressure adjusting screw and lock nut. =(
Anyone...
Anyone here running a walbro on stock wiring + 9/12v relay? Can you adjust your fuel pressure above 40 psi?
Well I just installed my walbro today and the fuel pressure cannot go above 40 psi; if I try forcing it above 40 with my aeromotive afpr the needle will just bounce from 40-43 psi and it...
Ok so the car has been driving fine for the last 3 years but yesterday I took it on a long journey down to california. Well, it ran great for 2/3 of the way down, but on the last leg of the trip it was getting progressively more difficult to get the engine running again. The starter turns just...
I originally bought a $30 AFPR off eBay for my MR2 Turbo as a band-aid, but since the MR2 has become my daily driver due to gas prices, I bought an aeromotive for it instead (didn't want to get stranded due to a bad AFPR); and this ebay AFPR ended up becoming my paper weight for the last 6...
I just saw a toyota dolphin motorhome for sale around the block. 22r engine, but the clutch is out. He wanted $600 for the whole thing. I took at look at it and it's in pretty decent shape.
Got me thinking though... that motorhome would rock with a 7mgte in it! Who thinks I should do it...
Okay correct me if I am wrong.
-The top port adds boost pressure to the wastegate spring, allowing the external wastegate to stay closed at higher boost pressures.
-The side port activates the opening of the wastegate when the spring pressure is met.
Finally someone is making MKIII supra stuff!:biglaugh:

This one is cool...
My CT26 smokes randomly, like it will run fine on start up and not smoke. But after 10 mins of driving it'll smoke like a firecracker.
Shut it off, wait 5 mins; turn it back on and no smoke. :icon_mad: Drive it around for another 5-10 mins and it smokes again. Sometimes it doesn't smoke...
So does drilling out the J-tube lower fuel pressure since it no longer restricts the fuel flow?
If that is so, couldn't I build myself a ball and spring type of AFPR kind of like the MBC? So it would restrict fuel flow up until the tension on the spring is met, but the spring tension could...
So I just finished helping a friend change out the hg on the supra. Well, we had some problems in the beginning because he wanted to install 550cc and a AFPR. Ended up fouling the spark plugs and so we bought some new ones and the car started right up.
Well the engine started and idled just...
Does anyone know if the '86.5 7mge injector resistor packs are the same as the '88 7mgte resistor packs?
All I know is that my 7mge had a resistor pack, but my 7mgte swap also came with a resistor pack so I just used the one that came with the swap. However after a little bit of...
I added a t4 turbo a while back and it hit fuel cut at 11 psi; after installing my 550cc the engine pulled harder, but would still hit fuel cut. I am still using the stock AFM, but before hand it didn't hit fuel cut until 16 psi via stock turbo.
Is this normal to hit fuel cut sooner at a...
Has anyone ever driven a car that had rod knock for over 100 miles?
Just curious because my old 7mge had this rattling only at 3k rpm; any rpm below or above and it wouldn't rattle. I drove it rattling for 100 miles before I swapped it out for a 7mgte 2 years ago and never found out what...
I'm trying to help my friend's 7mgte start, but the engine is doing some funky things. He'll start it and it'll fire up and then immediately die like 1 second after it starts.
We checked for intercooler pipe leaks, but couldn't find any. I even tried to turn up the idle on the throttle...
