I was getting 23 mpg freeway with premium, but now that it's $3.50 a gallon for the good stuff I started using regular and I've noticed the fuel economy jumped to 30 mpg freeway; this is with a T61.

Does that appear ok? I used the stone and drill method. There seems to be a ridge near the top though since the ring doesn't reach that area. Should it be ok to just put in new rings with the ridge still in place or should I grind it down somehow?
Installed one of those Ebay manifolds with a T61 and now the supra has a slight loping at idle.... is this normal? Certainly sounds different from my old stock setup. The rpm is stable however, it just sounds like one cylinder is stronger then the other.

Okay just finished redoing the bearings and put a larger turbo on. Everything is well, starts and idles just fine, but as soon as I hit the gas pedal the engine dies.

Okay I primed the engine for about 1 minute in 15 second burst until pressure showed up on the gauge. Started it and saw a puff of white smoke, let it idle for 5 mins and then shut it off. However, I don't know if this is the proper way to prime a new turbo.
