Im considering changing my front bumper out with something slightly more aggressive. It cant be too low since it will scrape on the hills of San Francisco. Please nothing too ricey either.

I was in the process of swapping out my Autolite 3923's for some new NGK 6097 seeing how they were getting high recommendations. I cant get my current NGK wires to seat on the plug. Its almost as if they are too short. Has anybody else had this problem?
im currently using autolites 3923's and i get a slight miss with them. Ive read that NGK 6097's are another option. But im wondering will factory toyota plugs for a 2jz work? will they be too short? Ive read the iridiums help smooth the idle out a bit.
Im running moderate boost. 18lbs on a...
Lately my buddy's car has been getting louder and louder. We recently discovered that his DP has cracked right at the flex pipe. Its approximately 2 years. Any idea if this can be repaired?
I was curious if there is a huge difference in motor weight between the 7M motor with stock turbo and the 2JZ motor with stock twins. Im thinking it could affect your suspension setup if they differ by more than a few hundred pounds.
I have a lexus AFM and thought i installed a set of 550's. i bought them used, but now im wondering if they were actually 550's and not stockers. Im getting premature fuel cut. So will 550's help raise fuel cut? or will the stock 440's contribute to premature fuel cut?
Im getting FC when i romp on the throttle in the early rpms (3-4k). I tested my IC pipes and i have a very small leak inside the turbo itself. But the system can still hold pressure for at least 5 minutes losing about 2psi per minute. Doesnt seem like enough cause FC.
Are there any other...
Im getting some fuel cut when i punch the throttle hard early in the rpms before boost even maxes out. Ive done a boost leak test and found there's a slight hiss right at the turbo itself. Its very slight but audible. No leaks anywhere else. When i tested it, the IC pipes held a positive...
I got my Supra dynoed today, and confirmed my seat of the pants feeling. I ended dynoing 316rwhp on 18psi. Seems as though a few others who have dynoed their SP61GT have gotten 380-400rwhp. This was using a dyna-pack, whether or not it makes a difference.
A few problems i encountered. I maxed...
A buddy of mine used a multimeter using the diagnostic ports OX1 and IG. The reading gave a pretty constant reading of .62-.63V at idle. He says it should flucuate between a much wider range maybe between .3V - .8V. He recommended that i replace the sensor immediately with another OEM unit...
I plan on swapping my MC to a 4runner one, but the resevoirs are different. Im curious how the sensor in the supra actually senses if the fluid level is low. Inspecting the unit, the stem(sensor) looks like a sealed unit. There is a round cushion that slides up and down the stem. Can any of you...
I had a great time yesterday. I was in the mid level group where all the other cars had some form of competition tire. I hung in there with them. Fortunately nothing broke! The photographer there got a few cool pics of me, what do you think?
How many other guys here road race their MKIII?
Im wondering if there is any performance difference or problems with swapping an non/ABS master cylinder into one with an ABS. I understand the ABS system will probably not work, but what about the rest of the brake system.
Ive been searching for possible brake master cylinder upgrades for my MKIII. Ive found that a 1995 Toyota 4runner with ABS is actually a 1 1/16" Bore size. Compared to the supras master cylinder which is only 1". What im wondering, will a MC from a 1995 4runner bolt up? the outlets are very...
Im trying to diagnose my spongy brakes. Please read the facts before blurting out a recommendation.
1. 14" w/6pot Precision Calipers
2. 3 different mechanics have swapped 3 different Master cylinders
3. The pedal gets nice and stiff with engine off when pumped
4. When the engine starts...

I did some quick measurements of my Lexus AFM compared to the stock AFM. I measured the mesh side of the AFM's.
Lexus AFM
width = 2.98"
length = 2.58"
Total area = 7.6884
Stock AFM
width = 2.82"
length = 2.38"
Total Area = 6.7116...
