so took the intake off, and found this chillin in the number 6 runner
pic inside the head, the number 12 vavle guide looks damaged, hard to tell
so is it salvageable? or is a new head in my future?

the wireing on my cam sensor has gone to hockey puck and requires wiggle mod to get it going now. now i have a distrabuter from a 7mge that is same plug in as my cam sensor
can i just unscrew the guts from the dist and swap them inside the cam sensor? (the 3 magnet pickups). on visual...
got the VPC and SAFC all wiried in, now i got a AVCR in the mix.
been looking though the digrams and as its a dual grounded unit, do i have to ground them into the ecu wireing? or can i just body ground them?
ok so my car sat over winter and am getting it ready for spring now. now everything was fine before parking it, but now i have an odd issue.
with the key off the SAFC and VPC will stay on. so i removed the SAFC today and the vpc is still staying on. never had this issue till it sat over...

reason i ask is it looks different than this one, as the front mount seems lower...
topic says it all. the heater control lights go off when i hit the brakes, even lightly. as soon as the taillight turn on the dash goes dark. replaced the unit with my spare and same issuse. the heater controls still work, they just
nothing looks out of place at the wiring side of things...
just a feeler to see who all is up for this. the tentative date is starting may 7, and ending when it ends. date can change if it conflicts.
basically my idea is a cross Canada cruise, from Vancouver to st johns (coast to coast) which is a good way to meet everyone and have a nice vacation...
