yes my car eats up 10w30, i noticed it ate up about a quart also in 1,000 miles. Scared me there, it is the wrong oil im using.

i have a k&n and i think maybe the stock recirculating valve isn't working correctly. When i put on the intake you can really hear the turbo, but i can also hear the sound of the recirculating valve also, like it was releasing it to the atmosphere like an aftermarket bov. Should i be hearing...

can't hear it outside of my car other than the lifter tick.

for me, i hear it inside my car at idle with the windows up and when you lower the windows you can't hear it pretty much at all

you think it may be the harmonic balancer?
