I just did my head gasket and i had a similar problem. It died at idle. It turned out to be a vacuum leak. I would check all your lines and sensors. Also, did you move your distributor? that could definitely mess up your timing. If you took the throttle body apart then that could do it too...

The title pretty much says it all. I'm halfway through replacing my headgasket and bolt # 6 will not break loose. We tried an impact wrench and now we just snapped off the 10mm hex bit. I'm really worried the bolt is going to snap help would be great.
