Does anyone know the specs for the nuts on pre-89 motor mounts (88 to be exact)? Also, does anyone know the specs for the golden screw/??? that goes through the center of the throttle linkage and threads into the center of the head (behind the 3k pipe)? Thank you and I appologize if this...

From what I gather, if you are talking about the leather shift boot, you need the metal ring people are mentioning, that came in Manual cars. The black 'trim' piece for you console has the four screw holes(whatever) to attach said ring to it and from what I understand the boot is sandwiched in...

Thats short and optimistic so if you do it in a month and get it all buttoned up/running right you should feel very happy and appreciative of whoever helps you. My 2cents.

To the original poster, you said you haven't driven the car a lot. Well here's an idea...before you go hacking your car up, why don't you drive it a bit the way it is and see exactly what you think it needs after you get some more seat time? Just a suggestion...so many people these days jump...
