Hello! I've read in some posts that NA filter bracket is better, than turbo version. Couldn't you explain in details, please? What should I install on stock GTE oil system from NA to improove it? Should I change big bolt or whole bracket? (I'm using stock oil coolers) Thanks a lot!

May be your turbo cracked (between wastegate outlet and turbo wheel outlet), so some of exhaust gases passes through this crack...

Yeasterday I've deinstalled my CT-26 (with huge shaft play), and saw, that it is cracked. There is a big chasm between wastegate window and turbo wheel window. Also it has crack inside hot input... Could this be the cause of no boost? And another ?: I see already second cracked CT-26 -...

May be it helps: check other devices: alternator, power steering pump. My PS pump makes taping noise, when the engine is not warm yet... An yes, It goes away and comes in, when it wants ;-) (typical bearing failure)

Well, my stock CT-26 went south, so I need new turbo. One of the local turbo shops offers turbo rebuild and they say "we can build any turbo from garrett parts", so couldn't you explain me, what to do with stock CT-26 to handle 350-400 hp in the future? I see, that 60-1 upgrade is popular...

2 huntin5L: man, please stop fooling others! I'm pretty sure, that it is not CPS wiring. To ensure that, QuikSylver6 should check spark on every coil. If his CPS/wiring is bad, he won't see spark on some of cylinders! 2 QuikSylver6: when you car starts, does it idle smooth?

I think, if both have the same resistance (you can measure and compare) then they are completely interchangeble =)
