it'll cost 50x if not your car or your life if you screw it up, not saying you would. But just trying to show all your options. Believe me, I don't hand my car over to shops often, they only go for tires and alignments, but then I've never replaced any suspension components either *shrug*

lol, well getting an alignment is not "taking the easy way out". our cars need 4 wheel alignments, which are very difficult to do in your backyard. we tried to do a front wheel alignment on our 1st supra, and that failed miserably. so as long as your car needs the alignment, just have them do...

patience man, you need patience #1. I for one, have not ever changed any bushings on any of my 6 mkIIs (which I should have but hey..) mkIIs are notorious for bad camber from the get-go, even new. I can't tell you how eay/hard it would be for you to change the bushings and whatnot...

this is what happens to a 157,000 mile 5M, when it has used bearings from a 189,000 5M (lmao) and then is repeatedly hydrolocked (because of a BHG) for 3 weeks Now this, my husband managed to do... he left 3/4" wrench on the bolt and forgot, blipped the key to turn the engine...

exactly, I have to do the same thing, lol. I've been hovering at the 132-137 mark since I had my last baby and I hate it. Would love to get back down to 115. :icon_conf I'm still on phase 1 of my "feeling better" program, lol which is eating/drinking better...no more sodas or fried fast...

from what I've heard, black is the worst color because shows all the flaws. but I've never had a gloss black car so I can't say. eventually I want to paint my white black, but that's why she needs the bodywork done 1st

haha, the cost will more than double, probably triple once I get the bodywork/paint done. the pics do her great justice, white hide flaws great. you can't see the million tiny dents thankfully.

no problem! if I wasn't in the process of moving and all this crap, I'd sure be willing to help out any way I could, I'm always looking to get my hands into an engine :evil2: as for the impounding, lol it goes a bit deeper than what you'd think. maybe I'll share the story when I get her back :)
