Stock twins, stock y-pipe, 3" test pipe/catback exhaust, stock airbox, I was hitting ~9psi, upwards of 10-11 on REALLY cold mornings (think well below 0*f...). Motor has BC 264 cams and porting/polishing to match, if that matters. I believe "stock" pressure should be ~7-8psi.

Well first check the gap on your plugs. Should be .028, somewhere close to that. Then it'd be a good idea to check your coil pack wiring... I keep reading things about them needing re-wired or re-wrapped. But fuel cut on our motors doesn't happen until much higher than 12psi. :) Check those...

Describe your symptoms, setup, recent mods, etc... Mine ran fine until I installed a y-pipe upgrade, then it started hitting "boost cut" at ~13psi. Turns out it was just that I needed to gap the spark plugs better. ;)

Still think you should post up what it might look like without the spear shaped (Camaro) front bumper... do you have any already drawn up with that point in the middle smoothed out? :) Also, if I were to have another suggestion, I always thought 6 spoke wheels looked like a Nissan thing. Mk2's...

You know, that's not at all a bad idea, I have mine setup in a similar way, but the hose is long enough that it's in no danger of kinking as is. Still a cool idea, Checker sells metal coil things to prevent hose collapse like this, but they're kinda pricey for all they are...

The benefit of doing this? I've never looked into it much to be honest. The Spec multi-disc clutches for our cars really don't seem all that pricey, at least compared to OS or Tilton anyway...

You know, I still plan on putting in a 10" at some point (have all the parts except the sub, still shopping), and already have a set of Polk components, but depending on how I like those, I may upgrade. Wish I could hear them in person, get a better idea what they sound like...

My car doesn't look much like that at all anymore, but this picture was ~2+ years ago, back when I was living with Clint and his old lady. :) For what it's worth, we painted those wheels about 30 minutes before these pictures were taken. I think the paint probably dried on the way there haha...

I thought about building my own as well, just have more money than I do time unfortunately (which is evidenced by the giant pile of parts sitting in the corner...), so I just went with the TS in-cabin tee. Would like to mess with their EBC's, but the Hydra Nemesis standalone has boost control...

I'll be keeping the Polk db501's in the stock rear boxes, and adding in a couple 5.25 components... I forget which brand, but I heard them in a friend's car, they sound pretty good. :)

These are a charcoal engine enamel (high temp) painted over a black paint that was already on them. Just a rattle can job, but they look alright. Hope the scenery isn't too much for ya. ;)

Back when my car was red (3e5 I believe the tag said?) I always thought a dark bronze would look really good... Not a very "crazy" color, but red and "crazy" don't always look great together. Perhaps a really bright blue or yellow of some sort if you're looking to get a little attention...

What about cars that sit that low from the factory? Lotus 7's for sure, I KNOW that some Ferarris are at the least that low...
