I wish I could do that. I've always wanted to buy up old Japanese or unique American cars, restore them (resto-mod?) to my taste, then try to sell them to someone who would appreciate them. Only way I could foresee doing that is if I were to become wealthy in a way independent of my hobbies.

Have you checked the inside (back) of the wheels? Sometimes there are stickers on them that say brand, size, offset etc... although those are often taken off when they're used.
