    Oil Drain Plug Gasket

Toyota has 2 different sizes of drain plugs. The smaller ones, which you were initially given, are what are used for the majority of their newer engines, JZ's included. However, the M engines used the larger gasket that you got from them. Surprised your parts department didn't know the...

First time back at the dragstrip.

Oh I believe you Steve (I'd have to be a fool not to haha), like I said, I have minimal experience. I never could get my car to launch on boost, as three-footing it is kinda tricky without inducing wheel spin, so I only have experience launching the car at higher rpm... Seems like the tire flex...

    mk2 1jz

Tyang82, they're also about 500-700 lbs lighter than a Mk3, it doesn't take much to make them quick. ;)

Genuine Group A Racing Supra at 2011 YTCC Spa

The various Mk4 cars that were raced in FIA used the 3sgte in a great number of campaigns, no need for the mighty 2jz when it will cost you weight distribution and weight penalties for being a 3.0 liter...

You know you're a Supra owner when...

...When you take said girl for a ride, at night, and when she can't figure out the door handle when you get to where you're dropping her off, you can reach across and "help" her with those crazy handles. ;)

    Longest trip in your MK3?

Speaking of impressive... did you put on the shoe, then tie the laces around the pedal, or tie the shoe to the pedal, THEN put the shoe on? Either way...

    Improving Factory Brakes

Only experience I have with brakes on a Mk3 are the following: -Suck... er, I mean completely stock... -Porterfield R4S, wouldn't hesitate to buy them again, whether in BBK form or stock calipers, damn good pads provided your rotors are still in good shape. -AZP 13f/12.9r BBK, got to drive...

General questions for a general thread

Yep, grocery store will have it, about the only place I ever found that stocks it actually... as for who actually has one, I do. :) Oh wait, you meant where you could BUY one from... right. Try HPF (horsepowerfreaks.com), that's where I got mine. Keep in mind they're built in Australia, so if...

First time back at the dragstrip.

Haha, just trying to share my experience, gosh Tina... :p I find that dumping works alright for some cars, but ours is generally not one of them, at least not on any Supra I've driven. I usually launch at 5500 (tried once at 6000, fried the tires all through 1st...), slip until it starts to...

    Happy birthday, SupraCentral!

You can have Thanksgiving on other days too? Making me salivate just thinking about it... x2. I feel we all owe you (and the staff obviously) a big "thank you" for what you provide and the ship you run around here. Who needs facebook when you have SM? :D

Nice man, I'll have to take a look. 1GZ = 5.0 V12, if I remember correctly. You sir... might be a mad scientist if you can make that work.

General questions for a general thread

Two things: -Mix with DISTILLED water unless you want your heater pipes (not to mention passages in the block) to rot on you. -PWR rad takes around 3-3.5 gallons of coolant to fill. If you have a vacuum coolant tool, that makes it really easy to get your system filled without needing to burp...
