Check for trouble codes, takes a few seconds and can tell you everything you need to know. All you need is a bent up paper clip to check for codes too.
Sprayed painted silver lol. Dude I said you can make an exact mold of your IC, even cut it so air can pass through. Im not saying use a flat piece of plastic and spray paint it.... You could make a really decent looking Ic fully outa fibreglass.
So ya.
Still Adding function to a faux product doesnt make sense to me at all. people can tell fake carbon fiber from a mile away but look how common that is. I think the prime market for a faux IC isnt going to be putting it in any car shows.
You could make a mold of a real IC and then just...
I wouldnt use an ebay intercooler, too many stories of them cracking. Add water into that mix and your asking for trouble. Add ontop of that vital cooling of the motor and your digging your own grave.
Again, a simple fiberglass plate would do the same thing you want to do with no downsides...
Just google faux intercooler and you see a ton of people doing this junk. The air intake to me is a much better idea. Id never trust it as my radiator, ontop of that it doesnt look legit. You pop the hood and no radiator, how do they explain that? When you got 50 people calling you about leaking...
My timing belt shredded while going down the road at 60mph. However, the motor is non interference, lucky for us. No thing should have been damaged at all unless something else broke.
Mine had that same wire, the car wouldnt start suddenly no matter what I tried. I eventually replaced that wire with a fuse and started right up.
My supra Should be an 87 not 86.5 so I dunno.
Last time I looked theres no where for the stud to come out, unless you pull the hub. If you pull the hub you might as well take it to a shop and have them press in a new one(s).
Maybe its different on mine or something lol.
Well I know my studs are pressed in, they dont just pop/screw out. So ya Im sure you can buy studs for a few bucks, but not sure how to replace them short of a press.
New studs are a pain I thought, they need pressed in. You gotta take it to a shop and isnt the wheel bearing shot once removed, so it needs replaced too?
A patent is NOT cheap, your going to need like 10grand easy to get a patent. Also, it takes along time its not an over night thing. Better off going with a copy right on names and stuff.
On top of that most likely what ever your idea is, its prolly patent already. Some obscure patent will be...
I think I might just buy a set of speed bleeders for the jeep and be done with it. They seem like the easiest solution sofar. If anyone wants me to work on thier brakes Ill just say 'ok, but your buying these special bleeders too!'.
I know a guy who is an authorized speed bleed dealer. Maybe I...
I know just because it costs more doesnt mean its better, thats why I was asking the ups and downs of each type. I just find it hard to grasp a 6$ tool works just as well as the 100$ version. From my experience with tools you get what you pay for. Plus they work alot different, one is just a...
uhm, swamp ass is just when your ass gets all sweaty. At least thats always been my understanding. No actual leaking just sweat issue, hence the powder cure for me. Keeps sweat from building up in those trouble areas.
I used to get swamp ass real bad at work. when i fart it felt like I had the runs, I got real paranoid about it. I just powder my ass before work and have no more problems yay.
Ive seen those but makes me wonder why a 6$ solution is offered next to like 100$ ones. Theres gotta be downsides to the cheap vac bottle setups?
What about the ones that hook up to the res. and pumps the fluid in.
