The only leaking I had was from the catch can in my garage. The leaky HG would let exhaust gas pressure build in the catch can. I forgot another clue towards my BHG, if you are leaking coolant from the catch can. I saw a few small drops and if you look close it will leave an oily stain on...
Start cheap like mentioned, rad cap, Tstat, new hoses(might as well do a new upper when doing the Tstat), bleed the cooling system.
Mine did all the same things and it was BHG in the end. My oil looked fine, even the day I did the HG job the oil was perfect. My coolant however had alot of oil...
When I put mine in it was very obvious which way it went. Still I looked at it maybe 15 times to be totally certain it was on correct. Theres no excuse for putting it on backwards.
The over hanging bolt holes in the gasket should be a very obvious clue.
Wow I didnt know a 20 year old car was still toyotas flagship supercar.
Sorry again, its all personal preference. The supra has a few things other sports cars dont/didnt have sure but its no luxury car by any means. Still, the supra is geared towards spirited driving. All the fancy seat...
Well personal opinion of course but Ill never agree to that. I like my supra alot sure its not uncomfortable. Id never say its more comfortable than a nice sedan though. Theres no cup holders in the supra, that alone says alot about its purpose. People dont buy(they shouldnt) sports cars because...
Well come on, the supra IS a sports car. Since when do sports cars reflect luxury in any sense. The cherokee is (unlike the wrangler) geared more toward being driver friendly. The cherokee is no town car or anything but its way beyond a sports car when it comes to comforts.
Exactly, no ac/heater/defrost, windshield washers, backseats, interior lights, power locks(windows actually work now). etc. Just all the small things that my supra doesnt have. The cherokee is like a Cadi for me now!! I mean come on, the jeep has wood grain accents!!!
I love having 2 cars now, the supra is just for fun when Im in the mood for it. I have a 4door cherokee full of luxury my supra never had. The jeep is Way cheaper to insure also.
I pulled my hood cloth out because it was falling apart. I had clumps of the stuff all over my engine bay. A few months later and the paint under the hood is turning grey. Outside paint is still fine and no other issues without the cloth.
If it opens up at WOT then youll still loose low end torque as the spring opens up freeing the exhaust.
A normal fixxed silencer would hold the pressure at WOT not robbing the back presssure.
Again laws are different for every state. In AZ the stand your ground law is the best lol. If someone makes a threat on your life you can shoot them. A threat can come from someone trying to run you off the road with their car.
Go into court saying 'the guy flipped me off then tailgated me...
