Did you pay with a credit card, go to them quickly. Usually CC companys want to keep your bussiness and do alot to help you. If you used paypal file a complaint there too, but id still call the CC company.

The people who remove it just for looks can replace it with a small hidden one. At that point it just becomes a case of being lazy maybe. Its easy to rip it out and plug the lines, but takes a few minutes to bolt a new one in.

I always put in like 5qts, start the car let it idle a few minutes then turn it off and let it settle and read the stick. Then, add oil as needed to get it full. Plus fresh oil is hard to see on the dipstick as its so clean ha. Drain all that oil back out and refill with 5 and go from there....

I use shop paper towels, blue ones they seem to hold up really well for me. They are almost spongey some how lol.
