The metal bracket the glass bolts to has holes in it, 2 zip ties in the holes. Push the glass all the way up, loop them through holes in the doors access panels. Stays up just fine, the access holes are thin metal so I can see them cutting through the ties at some point later on. Not sure...

The regulator also keeps the window Up, without it the window just falls down. I found a cheap work around so hopefully it will work out. Until then my window is zipped tied up and is pretty solid.

Not really, they use the same method for lifting the window. Just replacing the power motor(which hasnt failed) with a hand crank.
