Well regarding water getting directly on the top side of the motor, electronics usually don't do so well from my understanding. I've seen a lot of people spray down the engine bay with a garden hose and sudden have the TPS and the sorts fail.
Some people swear while driving they see water...
On the jeep forums this comes up a lot and people run these giant hood vents and swear water isn't an issue. I've always wondered what effects being parked in a rain storm has on things under the hood.
How do factory air scoops/vents deal with rain? Is there an actual under hood gutter that...
My bell housing came bare actually so I had to buy them. Didn't mean to add any confusion I just thought my parts list might give you an idea of what you may need.
I ran into a Lot of random small stuff that slowed me down, mostly fasteners though. The stupid clevis pin kit for the clutch...
I think an outside vendor discussion would be nice too. If I want to order from company XX it would be cool to get supramania member input about them before I do.
The schools around me are all open, the kids can leave for lunch and whatever. The schools are more a series of small buildings with out door hallways than a traditional large school building. The one I mentioned in my post is a high school that has a church and large neighborhood right across...
One of my routes home from work has a section of single lane 45mph road that opens to 3 lanes in a school zone 25mph. I can't count the number of people that cruise the single lane section going 30mph or slower. As soon as they hit the 3 lane section they speed up to 50+. The school zone is...
I wasn't implying anyone was ripping off walmart(not that I would care about that). I just hate when I want to go buy something and they are sold because of people looking to flip them on ebay.
I'm up in the air if I want to buy one or not, for 99 bucks it might be nice to kick around.
Yea, if you wanna be one of 'those guys' and try to flip it :naughty: . I was hoping someone would actually want to buy it not cheese a few bucks off it.
Jut thought I would pass this along to anyone looking at buying a 360. Yes, I know its the arcade and stripped down with no HD and all that. If you want an HD then the deal isn't for you sorry.
Other wise, you buy the 360 for 199 and get a $100 gift card back. Usually with this sorta thing...
UPS(I work for them) isn't going to do anything because it was poorly packaged. Unless he has a receipt showing he paid extra for them to package it, it's his fault. The person at UPS may very well have said they would wrap it up but it should be the seller who stood there and watched them do...
I would blame the seller they obviously didn't package it well enough to survive shipping. UPS isn't going to box it up or anything unless you pay extra for that, you're lucky they put plastic on it.
Get new bump stops, they aren't that pricey from the dealer. When I did my suspension a few years ago my bump stops were in tact but were very hard rubber. The new ones were a huge difference in feel(off the car). I have to imagine if my suspension does bottom out having the nice soft rubber...
I just got my shaftmaster 1 piece aluminum recently and so far its been great. No vibrations at any speed, seems to be great build quality and a lot of people on here swear by them. Plus, it's not that pricey really when you look at other options.
I may be seriously misinformed but I thought the supra never had a clear coat from the factory. When I was polishing it was pretty obvious that I had no clear coat at least lol. I burned through the paint to the primer in a few spots pretty easy(no power tools).
I just thought it sucked my...
That looks great. I had a similar situation with my maroon supra. It was oxidized so bad when I washed it the sponge and towels or whatever would turn red.
I polished and waxed it all up one time and it turned out awesome. I kept up on the wash/wax and the towels stayed white, I thought I was...
