replacing old sub frame bushing and torqueing the bolts will help some. and the best thing would be a an x brace underneath the car possibly from sub frame to sub frame and to the body if possible
check the cig fuse its on the same circuit for the clock.

will the light go on and off when your driving it? i had 2 alternators that would charge at 14v and then drop to about 12v and back to 14v constantly while i was driving.
i changed the brushes in the alternator and was good to go.

waste of time unless you like the guted look. the drivers seat is the heavest part. and unless you really took time and knowledge into it for racing purposes for power to weight its a waste of time
any loss of power? did it do it when you bought it? i had same waterfall noise but i noticed quite a bit of a power loss and i new it was a bhg. block test is cheap and easy and will tell you for sure.
