If your oil is turning black its doing its job. You never go by the color of the oil whether or not its time to change. Without analyzing your oil and changing your oil when its turns black your basically wasting your money.
Many dino oils can go well past 5k depending on driving style.

usually right at the connector on both sides and possibly over the valve covers.
Tho its not as common for it to die, but more common for it to just not start when you want it to.
Do you have spark?>
If the tach is moving then the cps is getting a signal.
Dont need to upgrade cams to run more. Will make more power with cams if there tuned correctly. 264 would be better.
crank and rods are forged. There is no set number as to what they can hold. It all depends on your tune.
Can get everything heat coated or wrap everything to keep the temps down.
Id run a clutch type fan as they cool much better in 9/10 cases.
Cant reflash a toyota ecu. piggy back or standalone are your only choices.
Stock has a mhg. It will be fine so long as your tune is good,.
How much...
They are as the section between the cylinder walls will be paper thin at that point. Prolly the reason why you will never find a set.
Getting a custom forged crank is going to be a couple g's. Not really worth it in the long run. Spend like 5k just in a rebuilt long block. Be better to just...
Supporting mods as in fuel and tuning.
You run 1 intercooler and just y pipe them into 1.
Tubular manifold with something like twin t28 ball bearings would be a good option and make good power. Could even do twin 57trim ct 26's twin stock ct26. twin t25.
iirc someone around here will...
How big are your supporting mods?
How much money do you want to spend?
Why do you want twins?
You can run 2jz twins but you have to bang the firewall and drill out a couple exhaust manifold holes.
A single is far more more efficient and cheaper if your using tubular manifolds.
If you want to...
Some of those like to burn oil as well. So who knows how worn the motor is.
And then there is always the driver. Could have been a 16 yr old kid.
Or he could have been 300lbs with a full tank and lots of weight in the car.
60mm fit better than the 52mm in the cluster.
But just get a hole saw after removing any of the wiring and circuit board on the cluster and then drill out a hole for them to fit.
The shorter ones work better as well, or easier to install i should say.

Better to be in the middle of the spec or slightly tighter for a stock or lower hp car.

Its not recomened to go past 84mm.
Iirc it was aaron from driftmotion who was doing that build and the biggest problem was that the crank snout was too short for the 7m.
The metal linkage rod has to come off to change tb. There are 2 different ones as well. I forget if there between auto and manual or if its a 89+ difference. The n/a one is also different.
When going 5 speed you dont need the auto cable.
