I never said anything about "this or that is the best", not once. I believe in the same basic fundamentals you do, it seems; no speaker is best, they each have their own application.
I see where you're coming from about the flat piston drivers, but with a "scoop" as I like to call it, there...
Well there Mr. Attitude...
1.) You sure are right...and I wrote gullible on the ceiling too! :nono: the whole square sub "MORE SURFACE AREA!" thing is bullshit. Reason being, the corners (the only extra surface area over a round sub) are almost flat, which leaves them not being able to...
Please, PLEASE, for the love of God do us all a favor and don't put speaker boxes and 6x9's back there! Multiple reasons follow:
1.) They look tacky as fuck
2.) Oval speakers create more distortion
3.) They look tacky as fuck
4.) 6x9's make this fake bass sound *barf*
5.) Did I mention they...
I think he meant the person who caused the damage in the pic he posted didn't run...
Sorry to hear Boris...doesn't look too bad though. Clay bar time bitches!
Yup, gotta get overnight parts from Japan. Don't worry though, put it on your tab at Harry's :yelrotflm
Just playin bro, really the only way to "fix" a valve is to replace it, and if you do one, I recommend doing them all :)
Weez, man, that false floor setup is really nice. I was a bit dissapointed to see you went the route of using the tire well, until I found out that you had actually built a box inside of it! Looks really good, and hopefully sounds equally good!
You don't lol. Most every supra I've ever heard has at LEAST a little bit of valve chatter, including my own.
Sorry about the short, unpunctuated post earlier, t'was made from my cell.
uhh how will 6x8's look stock? Besides, oval speakers sound like shiz in my opinion. I would say if you're going to go with a kicker, get a compvx, not an L7. Square subs are all hype. "More surface area!" Horseshit. Corners aren't gonna do shit. Compvx's are the same basic build as an l7 in a...
Right, but look at the thickness differences from the 7m and the rb between the WJ and the CYL. The Rb has more surface area there, AND larger water jackets, thus removing more heat.
Shutup Jake, or I'll scissor kick you in the back o' the head! Yeah shutup Jake! I'll come at you like a spider-monkey! :D :D :D
Anyway, Rep was fun while it lasted I guess. Oh well.
