Hi all-
I've been replacing the seals on my diff, and realized that I can't tap in the side seals, due to the diameter. I need something between 62 and 64mm in diameter to place over the seal to safely tap it in, and was wondering what people have used in the past, besides going to Toyota and...
So I bought this from Harbor Freight, and as mentioned above- it took more time to bolt it onto the hubs than to remove the hubs. Damn- what a difference it makes, going from a 2lb slider to a 5lb unit! For you physics guys, I know what a huge difference there must be in the impact force between...
WORD. Did you ever get oil pressure?? Because if you came on here to ask all these opinions on the best way to prep your engine, then just ran it with no oil pressure, I'm going to be pissed.
WOW, Hell of a story. Glad you're getting better.
Also- I've never seen someone so truly motivated to improving performance. I mean- usually people will get rid of bumper supports and interior pieces to lighten up, but you!- Pulling adnoids and tonsils?? MAD props man!!!
j/k- Welcome back!
Hey guys-
I've been trying to remove the two side axles from an LSD(out of the car), and my 3lb puller just aint cutting it. I was wondering what people are using for theirs. Did you just go with a beefier 5 or 10lb puller, or using prybars?(this didn't work for me either.), or did anyone...
Supramania keeps me off the streets, and off drugs.
For real, though. It's nice to have a place to share a common interest like the Supra. As for what kind of message we send out to others? If I had to sum it up- I love Supras because they are rare, they are old school, they can keep up, and...
How much for the heater core?
Sorry- joking is my way of dealing with intense feelings of rage and loss.
It looks like the fire had absolutely nothing to do with the engine or fuel system.
WTF is wrong with people? It's like those who don't have always resent those who do- even when they...
The rear one is the fuel pulsation dampener. People sometimes remove that as well, but you want to replace the front one. That's where the fuel is exiting the rail, headed for the J-tube down on the side of the block, and heads back to the tank. I assume you're replacing/ or have replaced the...
Assuming your engine is a turbo and not an na-t, the O2 sensor should be of the 3-wire type. IIRC, two of the wires are the heating element circuit, and the third is the signal wire.
And it does make sense that this could be your problem, as when a 7mgte is cold, the car is in open loop...
Same same, verbatim. Only mine didn't come off till about 65mph, and it scared the shiite muslim outta the CRX driver behind me. He got out of the way in time though, since the top gained so much altitude before falling.
You just ordered them from the local dealer?
I figured you couldn't get those here since the cars weren't sold here.
BTW- How much were they?
Dang Canuckrz- you just beat me in.
Seriously- I know you mentioned a new cat, but it really does sound like a cat blockage. Happened to me, and I started bogging more and more when going into boost. Took it off and found it was like 80% blocked. Replaced it and bam! crazy boost right into FC. PS- my cat clogged up in less than 8...
