What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Replaced my: Clutch master Clutch slave Power steering pressure line All three were leaking. Then I retorqued the mls head gasket. Previous owner had only torqued it to like 45 ft-lbs. That would explain why I was pushing coolant into the overflow bottle.

    Leaky shifter retainer gasket

If you were to unbolt the tranny mount, loosen the two motor mounts(and drop the driveshaft support bearing), then yes, you can replace the retainer gasket from the shifter hole.

89+ Shine Auto JDM Front Lip Interest?

I have the jza70 lip, and its in pretty good shape, but i wouldn't mind having a fresh replacement. Dont think id want it in fiberglass; i'd rather it be oem style urethane/abs, for impact resistance. Work in progress: [/URL]

How To: Replace driveshaft support bearing

Just an update, I drove the car a few times, and she's nice and smooth on the highway, no issues. I do still have the slightest of clunks, when releasing the clutch to move, but i expect that the is due to a 200,000 mile diff, with slack in the pinion crush collar, etc. its almost imperceptible...

Project: Git'R driving...a VERY short build

So yesterday, I got busy on replacing the bad pressure plate. But before I went through the trouble of assembling it all, I wanted to assemble it on the bench to make sure it was all good. So, I installed the disc, and bolted down the new, new pressure plate, in proper sequence, and looked it...

How To: Replace driveshaft support bearing

Thanks, guys. Nothing fancy or overly erudite about it, just a simple walk-through. I just wanted to post this to show that no serious tools, time or brainpower was required to get the 'clunk' out.

    Rough Idle, No acceleration

PS- Do you have 550cc injectors to match the Lexus housing? Otherwise, you're probably getting AFR issues as well.

    Rough Idle, No acceleration

The code 31 indicates that there is an issue with the afm sensor, so the Lexus housing shouldn't cause this. The sensor is identical in both cars, so the afm plug should fit the sensor, no issues. It is common for these afm's to get fouled up over time. There is no good way to clean the...

    Replacing gauge faces mk3 supra

I used a fork under the needle to pull up straight without putting any sideload on the needle shafts. And you don't have to unscrew the faces till you get the needles off. Try not to rotate the shafts after removing the needles, and take a pic of it prior to removal. I always found it easiest...
