Could you draw in where you recommend putting this wire? (jumper) Isn't there more to just resoldering that current lump after removing it? My view is limited.

Hey. A few years ago I paid a local shop about $300 to repair the power jack on my laptop. (Sony Vaio GRX550) Recently (year+) it's back to being messed up... not charging or powering the laptop. (Knocked loose I suppose.) Is it possible to have a shop directly wire the power supply...

Before finding the SP, I considered trading my old JIC for a WS. The pictures I got, I photoshopped "black" but here's they are: The body of the muffler is much larger than the tip. The sound will always be different... and to be honest, I'm already getting tired of it. :-\
