    Our motors have a big long wet noodle for a crank and at certain RPM it will whip from one end to the other, the stock Damper is tuned to this frequency and acts as a shock absorber "dampening" the whip so you don't feel/hear it. This whip is bad for bearings... In a race motor you don't...
