bought a jdm engine for my 86.5, 5 speed and the mechanic says its auto will it still work even if i have everything from my manual? i tried searching for it but only found info on transmission swaps sorry :/

i believe the w58 can hold like 300 hp? so if u plan on going over that the r154 is the way to go?

so if i get the engine off a 89 i just need to get the 87-88 engine harness and ecu and change it from the grey plug?

is there any problem with this as long as u get the same year ecu and harness? the grey plug one? or why is it that i should get an 87-88?

Right now my N/a has wrapped headers with full 3 inch exhaust to borla whale tale. I was wondering would i have to redo the exhaust? or would i just have to buy a downpipe and testpipe? Once i swap the 7mge out with the 7mgte.

Also will i have to re wire the whole dash o.0? i was looking at someone elses thread and they had to do it? :aigo:
