no i didn't. i'am just trying to say that 1/2 n/a-t and n/a-t is one in the same. If you swap a whole turbo motor into your n/a - then there's nothing n/a about that motor, so how is it n/a-t? The motor is a complete turbo motor. n/a + turbo = n/a-t with n/a elctronics.
edit: n/a-t was a...
I know it's for the 7m.
Lol, i thought that was the purpose of n/a-t - just swapping turbo stuff over. Swapping a whole motor would mean your now turbo and not n/a-t. For instance, mkiv owners who buy turbo kits, slap them on their n/a and keep the stock n/a intake manifold which goes over the...
What are your mods then?
Also, ls1s are fast. He also said he went from a dig and the camaro jumped on him. I just don't see this happening at all if he hit fuel cut in EVERY gear whle the camaro was already ahead by possibly 3 or more cars. If your shifting after fuel-cut, your not using...
Can someone please clarify this for me? I thought the whole n/a-t thing was moving all the turbo stuff over to an n/a motor. Then I read that the 1/2 n/a-t thing is just that - moving the turbo stuff over. What's the difference/point of this?
Are you guys talking about transferring 1j and 2j...
you were drunk when you wrote this huh? :D
Anyway, stop saying sp60-1! It's sp60 or sp61. Two different turbos - the 61 being the newer version of the 60. However, there is a 60-1 and a 62-1 to4 series. Sp turbos are wayyyyyyy better.
If you want quick spool, good top-end power and...
i have a question too. wouldn't running an open elbow melt the firewall or heat up the engine bay more? I ran an open dp for a while, and it felt like the car lost some torque. an open elbow would just decrease torque even more, no?
What is the worlds coming to? Come to new britain, ct. You'll see the most riced out hondas, wagons, and minivans in America. You'll even see a geo metro with a to4e running 20lbs. It is pretty god damn scary to ride in though....
Im throwin the flag. I dont think so. Not if your hitting friggin fuel cut in every gear. Those things are fast, and it most likely wasn't stock. Now tell me your on the stock turbo.
edit: look at my sig. I got jogged-on by a new ss at the bpu level. I also hit fuel cut in that race in 2nd...
Pay attention people. This is the dumbest idea of the entire history of dumb ideas I have ever heard of.
Entirely different bolt patterns, not possible.
If it was...who's making the custom metal head gasket?
Why do this on a 7m bottom-end?
1/2 + 1/2 = overrated
Just my opinion.
You sure it was fuel-cut and not a back-fire from running alittle rich? If it was "bucking", then ya, you probably just spiked alittle bit from it being cold out. Nothing to worry about.
I know SF has alot of sound clips. Try searching there.
Everybody should start welding squirrels onto their IC pipes. I bet you can pass alot of air through one. lmao! ;)
Are you speaking in general, or referring to your car?
I see that you have a "built" motor and an AFC; runnimg 14psi. You should be fine to atleast 20. Consequently, you can detonate and fuel-cut non-interference motors all day if you like. It's not recommended, though.
N/A = higher compression = same if not more of a chance for a BHG. A stock HG will work for...a while...if it's brand new, applied correctly and torqued to 70-75 ft.lbs. Either way, you'll be paying for a HG change.
