I have NO FIRSTHAND experience, But my friend who put a TON of money into his 7m(over 5000 dollars) just recently shot a rod out of the block. Even after 3 tuning sessions. He wasn't even driving it "hard" for the 4-5k miles he was running it. But then again, Maybe some of his work went wrong.
