Yea it projects a reflection onto your windshield from the dash, GM has been doing it for awhile with Grand prix's, Bonneville's, Vette's, etc.

I got questioned by a cop who pulled me over for no registration tag and I said when I bought it the dealer snapped the bolt off in the front bumper(which was true) and he said thats fine. just fix it.

Your diet thread is just sad Hells haha. But I agree, if you're getting the bumper painted and need to modify it, throw it in so you know what to cut, but don't bolt it in and drive around with the IC. It's like a wing on a FWD car.
