We are DEEP into the planning for "The Largest Supra Event on the Planet" and we are looking for fresh/new ideas to help grow this event. We may not be able make every idea happen (money/time/staff limitations) but we will look seriously at any ideas.
One thing we need to work on is our...
But if they are getting money from sponsors and the site is still slow (and goes down more than a $5 whore) why would they spend the "pool" on fixing things?
I picked up the AutoLoc module (http://www.thehoffmangroup.com:16080/Autoloc/detail.lasso?itemid=WC1000 - $39.99 + shipping). This box is GREAT! All you do is get a new 12VDC+ lead in to the passenger window and hook this box up between the switch and the motor. This will give both switches...
I drove a Scion TC the other day. Auto Up/Down on both sides - and if you stick your hand in the window while it is rolling up it will sense that the hand is there and roll back down - after encountering resistance.
I wanted Auto Up/Down on the passenger side too so I got a nice module to...
WAY Back in the day I paid $95/corner for the shocks and $200ish for the springs. That is a total of about $580 - remember that this was back in 1997/1998.
Looking at current prices at a few places that $600 doesn't look half bad.

I say fill it in.
Here in Oregon we are supposed to run a front plate too. I took mine off in 96 and counting today I've been pulled over about a dozen times - only a few of those resulted in a ticket. Not a single time did they...
Looks like he is running very well. 9.4 in Ohio this past Oct taking the top spot for the Sportsman Turbo 6 class - and working for the 2006 race season.
They have a vid of this car beating the AAP Supra - http://www.mahdavimotorsports.com/videos.htm
We don't always go to the mountains. 2005 was our first trip up there actually. In the past we've gone out to Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, and Valley of Fire State Park.
You all have fun down there.

Check your hinge alignment - and also if your hinges are sagging. You can test if your hinges are sagging by opening the door and pulling up. If you feel some play (where the door raises up without the car moving) then you may have sagging hinges...
My original clutch went out at 50,500 miles. I replaced it with a reman'd one. Within a couple years I was boosting to fuel cut - and love hitting boost. My 89 now has 186,000+ miles and the clutch is finally starting to show some wear - some slippage in 4th - but is still very driveable.

I picked up a rear skin a year or two back. It was actually cheaper to replace the skin and shoot the whole thing than it would have been to repair the original. I even got those minor cracks fixed where someone hit the bumper hard enough to crack the paint - but not do any major damage - by...
I will go out on a limb and predict a slow spiral down the drain of SupraForums - closing off the site for new members is just the tip of the iceberg on my reasoning for this.
I love the part about closing off the site for new members - but come on, closing it so that a non-member can't even...
