I've got a rebuilt 7M head that I plan on using in my rebuild. Not sure on the history of it though. How do I tell if it has been machined before? Will a machine shop be able to tell this? and how will I know what thickness of a HG to use? Thanks.

Yea, the sawblades are pretty light. they wouldn't look it, since they look like a big plate. But they suprised me the first time I took them off.
