Really? Those fins don't block ANY air? Removing the fins doesn't increase the overall size of the hole in any way allowing more air to flow in?
WILD! I guess it really is all in my head then.
I personally think it looks better and is surely doesn't hurt performance.
This took...
If you cut it (I cut mine) do not use fiberglass to fill in the "V" marks that will be left behind. It will fall out.
Find some FiberFlex and Flex Filler from www.urethanesupply.com. I did mine back in 02 and it still rocks.
Hehehehehe... My Supra hasn't been washed since September 2005 - yes, you read that right 2005! I washed the car when I got to Vegas and haven't washed it since. Of course it hasn't seen the light of day since I got back from SILV05 and is currently sitting on jackstands with no wheels/tires. :)
Actually that Bomex lip is an authentic Bomex lip from before they went all crappy. I had a small accident with it the day after I put it back on (after having it off for the winter months). Caught the lip on the edge of my driveway. :(
Just came back in from checking these out in person...
Hmmm... Kevin is studying until 9pm and these are sitting in my garage. First people to drive to my house with cash in hand - make me an offer (and bring tequila) will get these. j/k
Way to go Kevin! I can't wait to get home and see these in person.
I ran my MkIV rims with MkIII lugs as well with no problems - except for the one where the "muffin tin" center caps wouldn't fit on correctly because my nuts were too big.
Just for the record:
I got my 89T with 50,500 miles on the ODO. Somewhere around 70,000 miles I did a retorque (special thanks to Bob Johnson who welcomed a few Supra owners to his house and we had a retorque party).
My Supra was my daily driver for 10 years and I never went crazy with...
I'm planning on trying the BFG KDW2s when I get new rubber this year.
I used to run the Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EPs before and LOVED those tires! I don't think you quite understand how much I loved those tires. No. I wasn't sleeping with them. But I did run 4 sets from 1998 - 2006. I...
While I agree with the "Do it right" comments they don't really matter in this conversation.
If it makes you happy, and (this is the important part) doesn't negatively impact the safety of the car/drivers/others, then go for it.
Example1 (taken from Lam's Supra): If you want to glue...
He explained that one already. Using the "e" he is able to end the word and get on with the rest of the statement more quickly and get back to building his cars/truck.
At least the "the" was spelled correctly and not left as "tha".
WOW! you say you will focus energy on building cars rather than your typing skills but then you waste energy and time by adding letters to words that don't even belong there. You could actually be SAVING that precious energy by typing correctly.
We're not forcing you to use big SAT words...
WOW! This just goes to show you how spoiled we got in Vegas. :)
Only one event beat SILV06 for the number of MkIII Supras in attendance. And that was SILV05. :)
The problem with posting online is that it is usually the only way people get to know you. You always want to put your best foot forward.
Posting without proper punctuation, grammar, spelling, and/or capitalization will only make others think you are a punk and not worth the time.

I agree. 2006 was the first time I didn't have my own Supra in Vegas and it just wasn't the same. There is something magical about driving down the strip with all of the neon lights reflecting in your fresh coat of wax.
I thought MySpace was only used by
1. Kids who are too stupid to know any better
2. Perverts who are trying to have sex with kids who are too stupid to know any better
and
3. Corporate Marketing departments
I'll admit that there are a few people on there that aren't there for one of...
