sounds correct to me...my car was 8psi with an 8mm shim when it was all stock. You cant get more than a couple psi gain by shimming the wastegate.

yea try switching to a higher octane fuel or different gas station all together. My GTE did that for awhile last year so i decided to just use some premium fuel just once and it went away for good....for now:icon_razz

If the alternator is dying, it starts seizing up all aspects of your engine and they cannot work functionally. I would take a close look into that aswell

not quite right in what way?? Too loose? cant torque it down all the way? Are you using the right bolt? haha i've done that once, tried torquing down a bolt that was the wrong one and ended up snapping it off inside :icon_razz
