I don't really see the point. but that's me. Not sure how you're basing this off that blurry pic saying the lines of the hood go all the way through the nose piece when they don't.

the cross member is easy to deal with.

If you took a better look at the GT4 model of the A70, you'll see the nose piece is just like ours. The lines only go about half way into the nose piece. I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to point out.

Well it doesn't seem as if they were racing so I don't think Nate would expect a mostly stock car to perform at the same level as his car with upgraded turbo and all that good stuff. Even if he had 1000hp, he'd still be able to get a good feel for what the 1J is like in it's stock form.
