We will be looking for a lot of help this year. One thing I've proven year after year is that things get missed if there is too little help.
We will be looking for Activity Coordinators and they will be building their teams to help them.
I will be looking for someone to design the...
Hey guys... things are really starting to roll now that the dates have been announced - http://Vegas.Supras.Org/
Would you guys be willing to prepay for a private, catered dinner after the Show-and-Shine and before the Awards Presentation?
Before you answer let me give you a bit more...
We are very excited to announce the dates for SILV08. Dates can be found on the official SILV website at http://Vegas.Supras.Org
Mark your calendars now and make plans to join us in Las Vegas this fall for this annual Supra tradition.
Just something else to check...
I used to have a hum/drone from under my 89. Eventually that became a hum/drone/constant scraping sound. Finally found out that the problem was the front bearing on the diff. Disconnected the input and output shafts from the diff so I could spin it by hand...
I know you can't drag race with shaved door handles. I would guess (and I'm fairly certain the answer would match) that any of the road racing groups would also not let you race with shaved door handles.
Check out the NASA rules - they will give you a good idea.
On the 89+ the center brake light is a sealed unit. You are going to have to replace the entire thing.
To remove the light you have to take off the center section of your tail. Then find the single screw in the center post that holds the led assembly in place. The light should slide out...
No perforated hole in the carpet? Interesting.
Mine is an 89 - as is Chris J's - and both had a perf'd hole in the carpet. Larry A had an 88? and he also had the per'fd hole. It isn't clearly obvious that there is a perf'd hole until you look closely.
The crazy part is when I went to install this bar there was a perforated hole in the carpet exactly where the hole in the bar was... When I removed the perforated hole in the carpet there was a threaded nut welded into the body - also in the exact place it was needed.
It was almost like...
I'm sure Larry did some rounding but since I didn't see his research personally I just report what he mentioned.
And Chris J has a hardtop and runs this bar - http://cjsupra.kendra.com/89supra.html
Actually... the Do-Luck bar does more than you think. The ebay knock-offs do not as they only bolt at one point on each side.
Larry A, Chris J, and I all got our Do-Luck bars back in the late 20th century - likely back when most of you were not even driving. :) We paid a fair penny more...
Actually the openings are different sizes. You'd have to do a lot of tweaking on the pre89 grille to make it work.
One thing I would have loved to do is add the cross pieces from the MkIV nose. They have a piece in their nose that goes up the middle and has a horizontal cross piece as well...
The easiest way is to get out your cutting tool of choice and just start cutting.
Of course that will leave these ugly "V"s in the bumper where you made the cuts.
Some people have used Bondo to fill in the "V"s but bondo doesn't flex - the bumper does - and they fall out pretty quickly...
About 5 years.
SS does not have a store front - only an online business. I'm not surprised that you wouldn't "see" anything SS when visiting T. This is VERY old news.
WOW! Ideal - you need to come out from under that rock you've been living under. SS is a Titan property. Sometimes they shuffle prices to create some illusion of a difference.
I totally agree. Every day it gets harder and harder to find a clean Supra.
I parked my Supra when I got home from SILV05 - yes, that's 2005 - and fired it up just a couple weeks ago for the very first time - ~2.5 years. The amazing part is it fired right up. Now I need rubbers as I sold...
