This is a good idea.
I'll draw up some demo artwork so that everyone knows what these will look like - unless someone saved the pics from this thread before they vanished - and we'll get a new thread started, then lock this one and put a forwarding link at the end.
This is absolutely amazing. Top Gear episode where he decides to test how tough a mid '80s 4x4 diesel Toyota pickup truck is. I don't think I'd want to argue with one of these in any circumstances.

The problem that SF faces is tough to address, and I'm glad we aren't in the same position. Since the F&F movies (mostly, anyhow) every kid wants to own a real (read, Mk4) Supra. If they can't own one, the next best thing is to be on the forum for people who do.
These Supra-less kids act like...
Essentially - I wasn't intending it to be a race, I just wanted in front of him to change lanes... and he wasn't having any of that. Well, I got in front eventually, but I was deep in 3rd before I pulled ahead. Talked to him a bit afterwards, that's how I found out it's a shop truck.
Ya, he vanished. I bet a significant number of the folks here would still be interested. I didn't manage to save a picture of what these looked like, but I'm sure I can whip up some artwork that shows what they were like - I was quite fond of the design idea.
Ok folks, I'm back in town after spending two wonderful lazy weeks in Maui. Saw a grand total of ONE Supra over there, and it was a Mk3. For sale, too, I was tempted... but anyhow, back on topic.
Thanks to Joel I have white stickers back in stock - and a very limited number of a few extra...
I *think* the RPS is the lightest, but the difference between that and the SPEC unit was not large. At one point I weighed the stock and the RPS and posted the difference... but damned if I can remember now, that was 2 years ago.
The difference between the stock and the RPS was significant. :)
Recently ran into this thing - didn't think anything of it until it kept up with me through 2nd & 3rd gear. It was an old pile of junk - 1970 series mazda pickup, rusted bed, faded blue paint, total sleeper. It had at least a three inch exhaust and what sounded like a turbo rx7 engine in it -...
This looks decent... I'm going to look for this ParaChat and see what's involved with setting one up. Only downside that I can see is that I'd rather have something where people can't inpersonate each other...
I'd put money on an exhaust leak back there too, that's putting too much heat on the hose. Try wrapping it with some heat wrap before you install the next one.
