You will have a tough time getting the engine out with no hoist. If you are taking everything apart it's easier to do outside the car. If you are planning on do a mhg you will want the block out so it can be machined.
If you have access to a pressure tester you can use that to find the leak easier.
On a side note does anyone know who sells metallic adapters for our radiators and not the cheap plastic ones?

I wouldn't call it less hassle, they'll do this on top of smog shops and probably make up something else for us to pay for too.
Ok, guys I'll mess with it when I get home today.
I get that the keyway is the important part. :) I was just showing the keys to give an idea of how much indentation the crank has, the crank pics don't always seem to help enough. How much wobble is ok? I assuming as little as possible, but...
The key on the right is basically perfect, but the other has an indentation in it. :nono:
So what do you guys think of this one? It looks much straighter than before. There is still a very slight size difference but it seems negligible, but you guys know better than I would. :icon_conf
