    Yes, ditch the sensor and get rid of the T and line to it... It functions like an aftermarket electronic boost gauge, it's not connected to the ECU.

    close... but the cruise control on/off is on the steering wheel on the 89+ and it's on the dash on the pre-89's. Jeff Lange did a writeup on how to properly do the conversion.

    DON'T put a heavier fuse in there unless you want to damage the wiring or start a fire. The rest is trial and error. What did you do last? What causes it to pop?

    Impeller failure. Never seen it on a stock waterpump with the stamped impeller, but the aftermarket waterpumps with the cast impeller I've seen failures...

    exterior parts aren't nearly as expensive as interior... hence why I bought my car with body damage because the interior was nearly spotless.

    Yep, in the us we only got the 89 wheel for one year. Other parts of the world where airbags weren't introduced until later had it longer.

    You can depin that socket and fix the wiring. Looks to be the temp sensor on top of the T-stat housing, so you'll have to get one from the right year if you want it off another harness.

    It's not hard ;) Easy with the e-brake as well, but as our e-brake shoes are thin to begin with...
