so i need a new idle air (speed )control valve. i can not find one. i have the part number nut that not helping me much.
is their a replacement state side that u can buy , maybe off of a 2j...
i gapped at .28..
took the car for about a 50 mile drive today,, wow what a difference. runs great.. only a few small problems to fix.
the only problem i have now is the car is going into open loop?? does anyone know what ranges need to be achived to get the car to go to open loop?
ok set the cam gears back to 0.. idles better. i also calibrted the tps. .
it is spitting and popping at low rpm as you open the throttle boby slowly.
if you open it faster and go hard on throttle it is some what clean.
if you stand on the gas . the more boost it builds the better it...
ok not sure may have found issue. looks like my cam gears slipped. ill reset them and try it out.. and when i reshim the exhaust cams i will put the stockers back on.
if the ends up being the problem
ok so a update.. installd a new o2 no change. i am not leaning out when i drive any more, i had exhaust leaks. but still at 11.0 at idle. still idles horribly .
something else i for got to mention,, it deisels when i trun key off.. it dont sit and run it just dies slow instead of just...

yup that sounds like mine. stand on the gas and it gets much better. i dont know at what boost level. due to the fact that my brand new aem tru boost reading double what it should be (bad gauge)
nope no upgrade to fuel system .. just a walbro 255. and the inside of the ecu looks fine, had me and anothe rguy look it over very close. and their is no sign of anny damage or leaks
never degreed the cams in just set the gears to zero.. do you have a recomedation on a starting point fot the gears?
and i think i was at 1.7 volt on the o2, pretty sure that means its bad
so i got my swap done.. car runs very poor. at 1st start up idled and reved very good. test drove ran lean. had some exhaust leaks took care of that. always idled very rich so here is where i am at

i have a 1j . i have looking around the boards now. and i see alot of post about fuel cut and fcd's. seen a guy on here that was building his own. i understand how fuel cut works.
my question is .. is their a way to remove the fuel cut at the ecu with out a fcd.. is their something as...
so i got a 1j with a chaser harness, and i know this has been beat up , i have searched and looked. but i still have no clue what i am looking at on the stickys.. i am putting this 1j in a bmw and not in a supra:yikes:. but i am hoping some one can help me. out.
