Seen the block blow, No. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I was referring to Jongs experience. I have not played with boost on a 7MGE, the only things I know about it are what I research for my friend when he wanted to take my extra turbo stuff and put it on his GE. I did a lot of reading to see...
Where did you get the idea 18 psi is safe. No it's not. The highest boost I've seen documented on a 7MGE block is 12 psi before it blew, this was with a years worth of tuning done to it. 6-8 psi is SAFE. 10-12 PSI on a really really good tune. But that is pushing it. I have heard rumors of...
Huh!?! what?!? Cheap bastards? Yeah were here, thats us. MKIII Supra community.:biggrinbo
Burping the system does in fact work but not every single time. Sometimes you have to make a few attempts to get all the air out. The tool figgie has shown works every time and it does it very well. It is...
Sonex2000, was just informing us about his situation. When he said rod bearings he meant his rod bearings.
He continues on here.

You affect displacement with Bore and Stroke. Bore is affected by the size of the piston, and stroke is affected by the radius of the crankshaft. Changing the length of the rod does not affect either of these two , piston or crankshaft. All the rod does is connect one to the other.
Total Engine...
SupraNick’s headlight conversion is one of the best and most beautiful conversions done on the supra headlights. It was one of the first done and it was done right. That said I hope Nick doesn't mind if I use his picture to demonstrate what I think would look good on our lights. I think...
Umm, clear this up for me. Does this mean your radiator has a leak? Then no it will not hold pressure, and if it will not hold pressure it IS going to over heat.
Also, if you take the cap off of a hot radiator, of course stuff is going to spray everywhere. I don't see where this automatically...
I found the web page that had this, formerly located here, http://bkriz.mkiiisupra.com/7M.htm.
The Authors name was Bryson Kriz, known on the forums as "bryson K". I had to dig in a web archive engine to find this. I can't remember why the orignal author took down his web page, so if he...
88TARGATOP: General consensus is that until you lower your compression of 9.2:1(7MGE) down to something like 8.4:1(7MGTE), 6-8 PSI is considered the safe limit.
OK there are two way you can go:
7MGE with NA electronics, 1/2 NA-T. (Doesn't play as well with positive manifold pressures...
No, there not a good source. You want the BOV to see vacuum when the throttle body closes, so that the BOV will open. What kind of BOV are you running? If it the BOSCH model then make sure you have it on the right way, it is very easy to get it backwards.
The water fall sound just means that there is air in your cooling system. Just because you hear a waterfall, doesn't mean that you necessarily have a BHG. There are a number of ways that the air could have gotten in there. Burp you system and make sure that you have the minimum amount of coolant...
I don't normally agree with siman, but he is right here. If every thing was done correctly (paint job, head gasket, ect.) Then it might be worth close to that, it's still a little high though. You need to look at the quality of the car. Did the owner do a through job on every thing or did he half...
The cop isn't going to care who is breaking the law more, to him a ticket is a ticket and it still one to add to his quota for the month no matter who gets it. If a cop goes after two people one doing 110 and one doing 95, which one is he going to catch first? Why do all that extra work to catch...
