Well... Is that an engine set you got? If so, what all is included with your set? If just the engine, ecu, tranny, and harness is literally all you have, your 'what I need' list is still pretty big. I don't wanna type out every part you need since I'm still not sure what you have exactly.

I definately understand how that is. You guys that have had your car down for years at a time have my respect(or at least fascination). I simply can't do it. The first time it was easy since I was dorming at school and didn't need the car. The second time, I had to share my moms expedition...

bummer. except for replacing turbos, a hydro fan line, and me being extremely careless with one of the engines, both of my 1J cars have been pretty reliable. Just fix your 1J issues before thinking about swapping another motor in there. You'll be happier that you did when it's working...
