Pics of your setup might help? If I understand you correctly, you just want to add a pair of tweeters to your car? I've seen people attach them to the inside of the door mirrors, on the little triangle things... Seems as ideal a place as any to me, and it's not too far from the door speakers. ;)

This used to be a common swap for Miatas back in the 90's, but they've all since swapped to the GM LS engines (for a good reason). However, that said, if it'll fit in a Miata, I can't see it NOT fitting in a Mk3.
