BTW, might want to look into an AFC and some 440cc injectors anywhere over 14psi. I had bad wastegates, and with a 3" dp and exhaust was seing 16psi at the intake manifold. The car didn't like that too much, and I ended up keeping 3gal of vp c10 in the tank with the rest @ 93 octane too keep...
That might work, and the best design would be a split pulse, to spool up even faster. When I finish my setup, I should be fully spooled by 4k on my 1jz using hx35 with the stock backhousing.

In theory (or at least my head) that thing will spool quicker than stock twins in TTC on a 2jz, it also has the ability to make 500whp at ~ 24-25psi. Unfortunately, I dont think that they make a t3 manifold for the 2jz so you might need to go custom, or use a t3-t4 adapter.

I would stick with a GE head though, it will be easier to use your harness, unless you want to source a jz-GTE harness and we can wire that in, using either a 1jz head or a 2jz-gte head.
TIP would be the best person to talk to about the suspention, as he has set up MKIIIs with custom components for drift and auto-x. You are going to want some cheap ass tires that tend to hold up decently well to abuse, look into Sumatomo HTRs. IMO, I would keep expensive wheels off of this, as...
