Use the Holset. It might weigh more, but it will take quite a beating, it was designed to be abused all day.
You better have good tires out back, it will roast them in lower gears when you hit boost.
Then again, I may be biased.
t56 was cable if I remember correctly, did they make a hydro clutch setup for the 6060?
Why not try and figure a way to use a domestic clutch, they are cheaper than the supra clutch.
Superwhite IV fits that car SO WELL. I want it, just with a stock twin 2jz and an auto.
Car needs wheels though, looks like a basic 5 star would suit it! (something like a prostar)
4th or 5th gen SS or bust. Sounds like you are looking for something to play with out of the box, you need to tinker w/ the supra a little bit to be at their level of power/speed.
Depending on the condition of that car, I would pay that. GNs are hard to find and have just about doubled in price over the last 6 years (at least up here).
Map ECU2 is pretty simple to tune, kind of like an AEM interface. I have installed and lightly tuned (drivability) for my friends MKIV. He runs 600whp all day every day on pump + meth with a greddy t78 all through a built auto. I would not hesitate to run one any day of the week.
You can also find them used on SF for pretty cheap. I picked up one for a whopping total of $40 shipped, that has low miles. Worse comes to worse, I can pick up a new front part and still end up saving money.
