I believe the A/T cars have 2 speed sensors, 1 in the speedometer and one in the ABS sensor.
If your speedometer is working, chances are it's the rear ABS sensor on the tranny.
Take a read through the TSRM, it'll probably help, as it has diagnostics in there.

The SR5 is not the lowest trim level of the AE86 in North America, the DX was.
The chassis code for them in North America is AE86, for EVERY one. AE85 is used in DX...
