Shadow grey is all that's left for the 89+ style, not regular grey.

They changed in 01/89, the same time the changed the engine mounts.

Probably the starter contacts are worn down so they don't make good contact. I'd suggest replacing them.

I believe the A/T cars have 2 speed sensors, 1 in the speedometer and one in the ABS sensor. If your speedometer is working, chances are it's the rear ABS sensor on the tranny. Take a read through the TSRM, it'll probably help, as it has diagnostics in there.

I'd like to get wiper arms for my AE86 but can't. :( I can still get them for LHD MA70's though I think.

Those aren't the original OEM wipers. On the other hand... the OEM wipers sit just like that, so it shouldn't matter.

None of them had power steering, wasn't even an option. The steering in them feel FANTASTIC.

Holy crap and misinformation galore. Levin and Trueno both came in both AE85 and AE86 models and both had the same options. The SR5 is not the lowest trim level of the AE86 in North America, the DX was. The chassis code for them in North America is AE86, for EVERY one. AE85 is used in DX...
