so i was that hose comming off the water neck. i decided to drive it to school today and on my way back i decided to go to the parts store and buy a pressure tester. and boom, coolant went down, smoke went up. replaced it. only now my temp gauge doesnt work...how can i diagnose this?
theres so much flitch and hard to reach wet places, that i dont think i can clean it well enough to spot a leak. i think all i can do is buy a pressure tester and pump it and see if i can hear the leak.
right, i might as well, but right now i only have time to fix the big leak. dammit. back to the hunt i guess. what are the other coolant hoses in that vicinity..
i took a picture of the 90 hose comming off the water neck. this is the far end like an hour and a half after its been running. does it look like it was leaking? i mean theres oilly wetness and stuff there, but do you think this is the cause of my problem? also. what would be the best way to fix...
yeah i was gonna try get a whole kit thing with multiple adapters. i might as well, ill need it for years to come. im gonna fire it up and run it a while and check out that water neck area in a couple mintues
AHH i know! i don't know how else to explain it. yeah its turbo. i got that 90* hose behind the head and the heater core control valve hose...
its more up front.
i know my explanation sucks, but when the whole undercarrige is wet, its kind of hard.
