Bomex whale tail + lip looks great together. They compliment eachother, as does an aftermarket from bumper + whale tail as AFI1jz has shown :) Dont mind the cut bumper, you get the idea Theres also another one in black with an uncut 89+ bumper but i dont have any pics of it saved..

Your mods are backwards. Our i6 doesn't have a carb The bottom of the pre89 bumper is different than the bottom of the 89+ bumper. The lips are not interchangeable. They can be made to fit, but it does not look good.

Not his first time.. As ValgeKotkas already stated your first time removing the dash will take a few hours

I didn't have to remove the sway bar, just loosened it so I could jiggle it around and remove the ac compressor from the bottom. It's not that hard, there's just a lot that you have to do.

The stud has a special end on it. You can buy a bit to match that end and it will come right off. As said you may have to remove ps (I had to disconnect the line) and I also had to loosen the sway bar to drop it out from under the car.

Sucks about the bumper. Progress is always good though, I can't wait to see it all put back together and painted the same color, it's going to look awesome!
