As long as your nitrous is a "wet" kit you should be fine. But if you dont already have the No2 kit and are planning on buying one..Id say you can spend that $700 elsewhere to help you get to your power goal. Like spend it on a maft pro kit and some good tuning.

Next time you take your brake lines off dont bleed them and go drive.
Pour a cap full of oil in each cly. and then do another compression test.If the numbers go up then its your rings, if they dont then you should look elsewhere. But like they^^ have already said, its probably getting close to rebuild time.

Okay, so i am looking at buying an 89 turbo targa 5speed that has a BHG.Its deffiantely a BHG thats the problem (overheated,losing coolant,white smoke from exhaust,etc..)but the car has been sitting for about 5 months since the BHG. When it blew he had to drive the car like 10 miles back home...
Velocity is important on any engine regardless if it is FI or NA. It might not be quite as important on a FI engine but its still important. You can port any head and usually get good results.It just really depends on the experience of the person doing the work.
I dont see anything wrong with portmatching the Intake side. As long as you dont hog out the port so much that it loses velocity you should be fine.If your doing it you should also check to see how the Im flange matches with the gasket. I have read on here a few times tho not to port match the...
